Here is my Proposal for the Class Project
I will give the students 4 different options and about 6 months to complete the projects. First assign them to groups of 3 or 4, then present them their options which are: 1 to make a chinese movie about what ever topic they choose, documentary, action..etc. 2 make a podcast or blog of an instruntional topic i.e. how to make cake presented in chinese. 3 Present in class one of your favortie things such as guitar, football, skateboarding etc 4 translate your favorite book chapter movie scene and song into chinese.
then give students time to discuss with group which progect best suits them and have them submit a rough draft of what they plan to do
Finally schedule out their presentation days and give them all a dead line for the final projects to be finished and previewed by me so as to make any corrections b4 the presentations.

I pretty much already had a good view a technologies to use in class rooms i never understood why teachers would never use them, but i think that this class has helped me to learn about a lot more of things and how to use them more effectively in the class room! i have already implied several of the things we have learned to my students in Riverton. We all made gmail accounts and are using the google calender and the google sites for class information and updates. I have really enjoyed learning how to use all these helpful tools.

The most common infringment of the fair use clasue was failure to give citation of the media used in the video clip of oprah they also failed to apply it to any form of teaching. The video on classroom rules used the music from vanilla ice and never cited him as the original composure which some argue he stole it anyway so it is just fair game. I think the most common thing is people forget to cite the media used although we dont need permission to use it we do need to give credit to the original.

Well trying to keep it at one entry a week. So the big news in our family right now is that Brittany is going to apply to the BYU nursing program at the end of the month! so lets all keep our fingers crossed and pray for her! but we all know she will get in! other news BYU is number 7 in the nation this is really happy news to me! we are excited to go to the game this saturday... I am officially an employee of Jordan School District :) this is good news considering they are not hiring a lot in Utah, but at the end of this year i will be certified to teach Chinese and Riverton and Herriman want to hire me :D Other news i really did not know how much harder married and self responsibility would be... it sure has been an amazing 4 months tho! We also started our new calling last sunday and i already had to come home and change my pants... Never play with bubbles when you have like 10 little kids in the room! The old leader has some serious attachment issues but hopefully she will go away and let us do our calling :) well other than that nothing too special is going on we enjoyed dinner with Britt's bro Kirk last Sunday and my Grand Parents stopped by for a visit too. Thats about it for now... Until next time ζŒζŽˆεˆ°εΊ•!

The Epic Post

So today is the epic first blog entry, i would like to introduce me and my wife Brittany. We have been married for 4 months now and love every minute of it. We met just over 1 year ago in a class at BYU. It was a Volleyball class and I asked her to hang out one day after class, it turned into a date and then we never looked back! the next day i actually ended a date early just to go see Brittany again before i went home to Fruit Heights to work the next morning... We dated until January when i proposed to her on her birthday, i proposed to her by the provo temple; it was a nerve racking night! Thankfully she said YES! we where married on May 2nd 2009 in the Bountiful Ut temple it rained cats and dogs that day, but all the rain could not soak our happy spirits! we honeymooned in Oceanside cali and had a wonderful time getting sun burned and navigating Cali traffic. We currently live in Lehi Just by thanks giving point and both still attend BYU i have 3 semesters until i graduate with a teaching degree in Chinese, I currently and the Chinese Facilitator at Riverton High Brittany is going into nursing and applying this winter the the program. She works for a up and coming company called recall solutions... They make dentist appointments for lots of dentists across the state and nation. We both also have part time jobs as well she is at Big 5 and i ref football. We love to hang out and have fun with family and friends, so if you have time come on over!
